In the heart of Lebanon, a culinary legacy was born. Abu Hasan Ghotme, a man with a passion for authentic Lebanese cuisine and a 50-year-old recipe passed down through generations, embarked on a mission to bring the taste of royalty to the world. This treasured recipe, etched with the mastery and experience of years of tradition, became the foundation of Leyla Shawarma.

Abu Hasans vision was simple: to create an unforgettable dining experience where every bite takes you on a journey to the Mediterranean, where the aroma of sizzling spices fills the air, and a taste that tantalizes the senses.

Our Story

It all started with a dream and a passion for bringing something truly special to the world. The Brand founder, Abu Hasan, has spent over 50 years perfecting the art of creating authentic Lebanese Shawarma, and he knew that he had something exceptional to share. Despite facing challenges and setbacks, he never gave up on his vision.

Through hard work, dedication, and a commitment to quality, we have grown from that small village restaurant and planning to open 2 more locations in the year 2026. We have big dreams of becoming a national brand and sharing our beloved Leyla Shawarma with foodies across Canada. But our journey has just started.
